We are so darn warn out here in the Inland NW it is a total let down. Was hoping to have some snow playtime with the little grand son - not.

we came close to 50F today. We are getting some rain which should make up for some of the lost precipitation. There are concerns here in WA regarding the lack of snowpack. Us kids on the block would play tackle football on the road, as snowfall after snowfall was packed down ontop of the pavement making is a softer surface. I don't know why we did that when most of us had yards large enough to host such games.

It rained hard down here last night. A beautiful day today though. 40's, sunny and windy. Felt like Spring... to me. :)

D, I will check that post out next. It's impressive what is happening out East in regards to the snowfall. El Nino has really impacted the US this Winter. Everyone that I've talked to from the South have said it's been cold and wet. We've been warm and dry. Typical... and at the same time, radical.

WxWatcher, yes she's a trooper. The neighbor was over last night shoveling and tonight a friend from down the road shoveled. Neither of them used the wovel. BLASPHEMY! At least once each winter I had to park somewhere...and walk home and not always because of being in a storm ... the roads were not plowed yet on our hill... or rain had turned to freezing rain. In Feb/March of 2000 a snow storm caught me with TWO kids (5 & 3), We managed to get home without having to walk.
A nice man used his 4WD to pull us up over a slippery spot so we could continue home.SuzieEhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08170748717165591281noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5796654132557410922.post-9470599401438554842010-02-08T22:54:18.961-06:002010-02-08T22:54:18.961-06:00OSNW3:
